A review and conceptual study of shodhana process

Abstract
Shodhana process plays important role in formation of Ayurvedic medicine. It can be defined as purification or detoxification of a raw drug. If a raw drug is used without shodhana it can leads to toxic and adverse effects in human body. To understand this process we discussed importance, objectives, types of shodhana along with a hypothetical review.
