Intervention of climate change on zoonotic, infectious and vector borne disease: Concept and evidence review

Abstract

Every aspect of society, including health, is anticipated to be impacted by climate change. The global burden of infectious disease is being negatively impacted by climate change, posing a challenge to health security. Most people on the planet are vulnerable to infectious diseases that are pathogenic and whose life cycles are influenced by environmental variables in various physical stages, such as soil, water, and air. In addition to reviewing the state of the art in terms of research on how climate change may impact the spread of zoonotic, infectious, vector-borne illnesses and this study provides an introduction to the terms and techniques used in forecasting climate change.
