International Journal of Research in Agronomy · 2024 · Vol. 7(10) · pp. 556–559

Abstract

The present investigation entitled “Response of chickpea to foliar grade micronutrients was conducted during the rabi season of 2023-2024 at Net House, Soil Science Section, College of Agriculture, Nagpur. The experiment was carried out as pot culture study in completely randomized design with eight treatments. T1: Water spray at 25 DAS, T2: Water spray at 50 DAS, T3: 5 ml L-1 at 25 DAS, T4: 5 ml L-1 at 50 DAS, T5: 7.5 ml L-1 at 25 DAS, T6: 7.5 ml L-1 at 50 DAS, T7: 10 ml L-1 at 25 DAS, T8: 10 ml L-1 at 50 DAS. The application with 7.5 ml L-1 micronutrient grade X at 50 DAS (T6) resulted in significantly higher number of branches, with 4.13 branches (at 50 DAS), 6.97 branches (at 60 DAS), 4.50 nodules plant-1, highest dry matter yield (1.67 g plant-1, 8.33 g pot-1) and plant height, soil chemical properties demonstrated stable condition with the application of micronutrient grade X at both 25 DAS and 50 DAS.
