The influence of family support on work-life balance for married female conductors in KSRTC

Asian Journal of Management and Commerce · 2024 · Vol. 5(2) · pp. 391–394

Abstract

This study investigates how married female conductors at the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) combine their professional and personal lives in relation to family support. It attempts to evaluate the different kinds of family support that these conductors can receive and examine the effects such assistance has on their productivity and performance at work. The study also assesses the connection between married female conductors' job happiness and family support. The results, which combine qualitative and quantitative methods, show that increased job performance, productivity, and overall job satisfaction are all positively correlated with good family support. The work-life balance and career results of married female conductors in the transportation industry are enhanced by supportive family circumstances, as this study highlights.
