From burn to balance: Constitutional homoeopathic medicine for GERD in a step mom: A case study

Abstract

Gastroesophageal reflux disease is chronic condition where Stomach acid flow back in to the esophagus causing symptoms like heartburn, Regurgitation, bloating in abdomen, Nausea, Vomiting, Dysphagia, occasionally chest pain & potentially it can lead to many complications. Homoeopathy offers holistic approach for treatment of chronic diseases, selection of constitutional medicine is done on the basis of individualization and characteristic symptoms of patient, which treat patient as a whole. In this case report, 52 years married women suffering from GERD since 3 years came to OPD after trying allopathic management for 3 years, but patient don’t get any relief. After prescribing Homoeopathic constitutional medicine patient get relief in all symptoms.
