Personality disorder and homoeopathy

International Journal of Homoeopathic Sciences · 2024 · Vol. 8(4) · pp. 23–26

Abstract

Personality disorders, characterized by entrenched patterns of maladaptive thinking and behaviour, pose a significant challenge to conventional psychiatric treatment. Homoeopathy, with its holistic and individualized approach, offers a promising adjunctive therapy for addressing the complex emotional and psychological distortions underlying these disorders. This presentation explores the homoeopathic perspective on personality disorders, highlighting the interplay between psychological, emotional, and physical symptoms. We examine the role of homoeopathic remedies in mitigating symptoms, fostering emotional resilience, and promoting self-awareness.Homoeopathy offers a valuable complementary therapy for personality disorders, addressing the unique needs of each individual. By targeting the underlying emotional and psychological vulnerabilities, homoeopathic remedies can facilitate lasting change, empowering individuals to reclaim their authentic selves.
