Liquid supported denture: A soft option for atrophic ridges

Abstract

This case report describes an alternative method to rehabilitate completely edentulous atrophic ridges by the use of liquid supported denture. Liquid supported dentures eliminate the disadvantages of denture designs and allows continued adaptation of denture over the denture bearing area based on the application of vacuum heat pressed polyethylene sheets filled with fluid.
