Suitable measures to eradicate detrimental effects of substance abuse

Abstract

The present investigation was undertaken in Ayodhya region of Uttar Pradesh. For the study, a sample of 300 respondents was collected. The study was carried out by multistage ramdom and purposive type sampling through survey method. The analysis of research study observed that awareness about the hazardous effects of substance abuse is necessary. Study showed that rehabilitating substance abusers and also increasing the availability of substance abuse treatment program got 100 percent support of the selected respondents whose mean score is 23.07 and rank I.
