Homeopathic approaches to diabetic care: A comprehensive review

International Journal of Homoeopathic Sciences · 2024 · Vol. 8(3) · pp. 431–433

Abstract

Diabetes is a global health challenge, and its management often requires a multidisciplinary approach. Homeopathy, a holistic system of medicine, has gained attention as a complementary method for diabetes care, particularly Type 2 diabetes. This review synthesizes findings from various clinical and preclinical studies on homeopathic treatments for diabetes, examining their potential benefits, limitations, and safety concerns. Emphasizing individualized treatment and constitutional remedies, the review explores the holistic nature of homeopathy in improving blood glucose control, patient well-being, and addressing diabetic complications. While some evidence supports the efficacy of specific remedies, more rigorous research is required to validate these findings and ensure patient safety.
