Effect of sowing methods and nutrient management on growth, yield and quality of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.)

Abstract

A field experimented was conducted at Research Farm, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur during rabi season of 2023-24 to study the effect of sowing methods and nutrient management on growth, yield and quality of barley. The results reveals that the Crisscross sowing along with application of 100% chemical fertilizers recorded significant improvement in growth, yield attributes and yield along with protein content in barley under the agro-climatic condition of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
