Abstract

The study on effectiveness of various bio-pesticides and biorational pesticides for controlling chiku moth (Nephoteryx eugraphella) was carried out in the field of Junagadh Agricultural University. Entomopathogenic fungi like Beauveria bassiana, Nomuraea rileyi and Metarhizium anisopliae as well as Bacillus thuringiensis, Neem Seed Kernel Extract 5%, Panchgavya 5%, Neemashtra 1% were applied two times at higher pest infestation. Out of these treatments treatment of Neem Seed Kernel Extract 5% were found the most effective which was followed by Beauveria bassiana 1.1WP (1 × 108 CFU/g) (0.0092).
