Herbal healing of poly cystic ovarian syndrome: A comprehensive review

Abstract
Polycystic ovarian disease has become very common among modern women due to lifestyle modification, work stress and impact of western culture apart from genetic and other pharmacological causes. Drugs prescribed for the treatment mainly targets improving insulin resistance, correcting hormonal imbalances, etc., Mostly the drugs are given for a long period leaving vast untoward effects. Focusing on herbs improve the condition with minimal or zero side effects. Review presence plants that are proven to treat polycystic condition marching towards the herbal approach would minimise the unwanted effects produced by the existing medications.
