International Journal of Research in Agronomy · 2024 · Vol. 7(8) · pp. 560–563
Abstract
A field experiment was carried out during the kharif seasons of the year 2021 and 2022 at College Agronomy Farm, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat, with a view to study the effect of nitrogen management on growth of kharif pearl millet. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design with six treatments and four replications. The results revealed that the growth parameters viz., plant height, CGR and RGR were recorded higher in treatment with 50% RDN through urea + 75% RDN through castor cake + Bio NPK consortium.
