Seasonal incidence of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) insect pest
Abstract
The present investigations on “Seasonal incidence of okra insect pest” was carried out in Kharif season of year-2023 Organic Research Farm Kargunwa Ji, Department of Entomology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (U.P.). The population of jassid, whitefly, red cotton bug and shoot and fruit borer were started during 31th, 30th, 32th and 33rdSMW and reached its peak level in 36th (7.89), 35th (16.14), 37th (6.14) and 37th (4.1) SMW respectively. There was positive correlation between pest population with maximum temperature, minimum temperature, morning relative humidity and bright sunshine. Only evening relative humidity was negative correlated.
