A comprehensive study on emotional intelligence and academic stress: The case of women university students in Vijayapura, Karnataka

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive study investigating the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic stress among students of a women’s university in Vijayapura, Karnataka. Given the increasing recognition of emotional intelligence as an important component of academic success and well-being, understanding its impact on stress management is important, especially for female students. The study uses a mixture of methods, including surveys, interviews, and psychometrics to gather nuanced insights into the level of emotional intelligence and academic stress experienced by female college students The study aims to identify emotions specific intellectual abilities associated with effective stress management and academic achievement. Highlights of the study include examination of the emotional intelligence framework, examination of unique academic stress in the female student population, and detailed interactions on the interactions between emotional intelligence and stress coping strategies and again also provides useful implications for employees. The results of the study are expected to shed light on possible interventions and supportive strategies that can be used to enhance emotional intelligence and reduce academic stress among female university students on the snow. Ultimately, this study seeks to empower female students in Vijayapura, Karnataka by providing a conducive learning environment that promotes optimal learning and psychological well-being by enhancing their emotional intelligence capacity.
