Attitude of farmers towards kisan farm pond scheme in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan

Abstract

The study was conducted to develop and standardize the reliable and valid scale, to measure attitude of farmers towards Kisan Farm Pond Scheme. An appropriate statistical method ‘Scale product method’ was used. A panel of 5 judges was requested to assign the score for each selected statement for judgments on three point continuu viz. agree, undecided and disagree for all the statements. Based on the scale 26 statements were finally selected to constitute attitude of farmers towards Kisan Farm Pond Scheme. From the data it can be revealed that majority 66.67 percent of the farmers had medium level of attitude, followed by high (14.17%) and low level (19.17%). From this, it can be concluded that majority of the farmers had medium level of attitude.
