Bovine ocular squamous cell carcinoma of cattle: A case report
Abstract
A wart like growth collected from a seven years old crossbred cow at orbital margin. Upon physical examination nodular, cauliflower like mass observed at the junction of the cornea and sclera involving lower & upper eyelid margins. Histopathology examination revealed the presence of islands of neoplastic squamous cells with keratin pearl and Strong expression of Intracytoplasmic immunoreactivity for Cytokeratin and Strong nuclear immunoreactivity for proliferating cell nuclear antigen. Surgical excision of the growth was subsequently performed.Basing on gross, histopathological and immunohistochemical findings the present case was confirmed as Squamous cell carcinoma.
