Abstract

Field experiment entitled “Effect of nano-DAP on yield and yield attributes of transplanted rice (Oryza sativa L.) in Chhattisgarh plains” was conducted at Instructional farm, Department of Agronomy, B.T.C. College of Agriculture and Research Station, Bilaspur (C.G.) during kharif season 2023-24 in randomized block design (RBD). The experiment comprises seven treatments and three replications. The result showed that yield and yield attributing characters were significantly increased by Nano-DAP imposed in rice. Result reveled that yield attributes viz. number of panicle hill-1 (10.02), panicle length (24.83 cm), number of grains panicle-1 (147.86), test weight (23.11 g), grain yield (49.10q ha-1) and straw yield (57.14q ha-1) recorded highest in T7: 100% RDF + dipping of rice seedling on nano-DAP @ 3 ml liter-1 of water + one foliar spray of nano-DAP @ 2 ml liter-1 of water at tillering stage, which was at par with T5:75% RDF + dipping of rice seedling on nano-DAP @ 3 ml liter-1 of water + one foliar spray of nano-DAP @ 2 ml liter-1 of water at tillering stage, T6: 100% RDF + dipping of rice seedling on nano-DAP @ 3 ml liter-1 of water and T1: 100% RDF. Lowest recorded under T2: 50% RDF + dipping of rice seedling on nano-DAP @ 3 ml liter-1 of water.
