Enthusiasm and loyalty for soccer student activity unit member at Semarang State University in 2024

Abstract

This research aims to determine the enthusiasm and loyalty of the Soccer Student Activity Unit members at Semarang State University in 2024. This research uses a survey method, and the participants are members of the Soccer Student Activity Unit at Semarang State University in 2024. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling from a population of 50 members. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Indicators of enthusiastic questionnaire statements include motivation, a person's personal characteristics, interests, environment, and opportunities. Meanwhile, indicators of loyalty statements include willingness to cooperate, a person's characteristics, and characteristics of burdens and tasks. The analysis results using the SPSS application show that the enthusiasm variable in the very high category obtained a percentage of 22%, high 24%, medium 24%, low 24%, and very low 6%. For the loyalty variable, the category is very high 6%, high 4%, medium 42%, low 24%, very low 24%. The study results concluded that enthusiasm was quite good and loyalty was moderate among Soccer Student Activity Unit members at Semarang State University in 2024. The results of this study became the basis for evaluating the organization so that in the future, it could increase the enthusiasm and loyalty of its members.
