International Journal of Research in Agronomy · 2024 · Vol. 7(4) · pp. 652–655

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during kharif Season 2023 at Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & sciences, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. To determine the “Influence of Solid organic manures and Liquid nutrient source on growth and yield of System of Rice Intensification”. There were 9 treatments each replicated thrice, and the experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design. The results showed that the treatment 2 (FYM-20 t/ha + Fish Amino Acids-3%) recorded significantly higher plant height(113.39 cm), maximum number of tillers/hill (23.13), higher dry weight (27.03 g), higher panicle length(25.10 cm),maximum number of grains/panicle (114.68), highest grain yield (4.72 t/ha) and higher straw yield (9.32 t/ha), Compared to other treatments. Maximum gross returns (2,38,616.00 INR/ha), Maximum net return (1,62,791.40 INR/ha) and highest benefit cost ratio (2.15) was recorded in treatment 2 (FYM-20 t/ha + Fish Amino Acid-3%) as compared to other treatments.
