This article explores the complex dynamics of stress in critical care and how to manage it, illuminating the various difficulties like Workload and Staffing Challenges, Mental Health Concerns, Impaired Physical Health and Increased Risk of Professional Errors that arise in high-stress situations. By examining evidence-based tactics such as peer support programmes, mindfulness exercises, and workload management strategies, we provide practical guidelines for reducing stress and building resilience in healthcare teams.
