Abstract

Topology, as a branch of mathematics, delves into the study of properties preserved under continuous deformations. This paper elucidates the fundamental concepts of topology, exploring its theoretical underpinnings and practical applications. Beginning with the basic notions of open sets, continuity, and topological spaces, the exposition progresses to advanced topics such as compactness, connectedness, and homotropy theory.
