International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research · 2024 · Vol. 8(2S) · pp. 519–522

Abstract

Studies conducted to evaluate the tomato variety “Kashi Aman” under different growing containers and found that the substantial variations among treatments in growth parameters, flowering patterns and yield characteristics. Of all the containers, white polythene bags (T3) consistently produced the highest values for most parameters such as plant height, number of leaves, branches and roots, early flowering and yield attributes. White polythene bags emerged as the best performing container for cultivation of tomato variety Kashi Aman under the agro-climatic conditions of Chhuikhadan, Chhattisgarh.
