Abstract

To obtain data from participants, self-administered questionnaires were developed from earlier research. Result: The results suggest that 56.5% of mothers had poor knowledge and 80.6% had a good attitude; Knowledge and educational attainment, as well as employment situation, are significantly correlated (P values = 0.021 and 0.035, respectively). Knowledge and attitude did not significantly correlate with one another (P=0.066).Conclusion: Mothers exhibited limited knowledge (56.5%) but a positive attitude (86.4%) regarding kid supplemental feeding guidelines. The knowledge and educational degrees of mothers were substantially connected. More promotion of proper child supplementary feeding practices among mothers is required.
