Abstract
The present study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of dry period on the subsequent production and reproduction performance in Holdeo (HF x Deoni). The data representing HF X Deoniinterse cattle from Cattle Cross Breeding Project, VNMKV, Parbhani with 960 total records of lactation over a 25 years period (1991-2015) were analyzed to determine the effect of period of calving and season of calving on production and reproduction performance of Holdeo.
