Abstract

Health is perceived as a fundamental requirement of human life. A country can't succeed without the healthy citizens of its country. Health care expenditure represents a major use of our nation's resources and has been growing rapidly. Increased pressures on health care resources have led policy makers, administrators, and clinicians to search for more efficient ways to deliver health services. Efficiency improvements in the health sector, even in small amounts, can yield considerable savings of resources or expansion of services for the community. Access to comprehensive, quality health care services is important for promoting and maintaining health, preventing and managing disease, reducing unnecessary disability and premature death, and achieving health equity for all citizens.
