This article explores the transformative impact of technology on auditing practices, aiming to unravel the challenges and opportunities it presents. The article examines the key challenges faced by auditors in adopting and implementing technology-driven auditing practices. These challenges encompass issues such as data security, privacy concerns, skill gaps, and the need for robust internal controls. Additionally, the article delves into the opportunities that technology offers, including enhanced efficiency, improved risk assessment, and increased analytical capabilities.
