The effectiveness of a recreational sports program to enhance tolerance among students of Al-Qasim Green University in Babylon, Iraq

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the effectiveness of a recreational sports program to enhance tolerance among students of Al-Qasim Green University, and the researcher used the experimental approach to design the two groups (experimental and control), and the study sample consisted of (82) students, (41) students for the experimental group, (41) students for the experimental group. control, and applied to them the research tools represented in: the tolerance scale (prepared by the researchers), the recreational sports program (prepared by the researchers), the most important results of the research revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students on the scale of tolerance in the total score and the dimensions of the experimental group in the two tests (pre/post) in favor of the post test, and there are statistically significant differences at level (0.01) between the mean scores of students in The post-test of the tolerance scale in the total score and dimensions between the students of the experimental group and the members of the control group in favor of the experimental group, and there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group
