Abstract

The oldest trend in the world is feminism. Throughout the Vedic age, there were signs of a female-centered society. The oldest woman in the community used to be the village chief, according to the Rig Veda. Female members of society used to rule it in the past. In the evolution of human civilisation and culture, the Vedic period is regarded as crucial. Women were held in great regard in society; they enjoyed equal rights and ideals, and women were allowed to participate in religious activities both at home and in temples.
