Management techniques for value investors

Abstract

The paper seeks to identify proper management techniques for value investors. Thereby, a literature review is carried out, revealing behavioral aspects in the area of value investing. Even though a large body of literature exists, there are still many concerns regarding the techniques used by the individual investor, leading to poor investment decisions. Against this backdrop, the article shares techniques that are beneficial when it comes to value investing. By doing so, events influencing human psychology are displayed and approaches to bypass adverse effects on the value investor are developed. As a result, better long-term results of value investors shall be achieved.
