Abstract

The expansion of the chemical, pharmaceutical industry and the intrusion of technology in many branches of the economy and in daily life has caused the appearance and accumulation of new substances (toxic drugs) in the environment. This presence of new substances leads to considerable ecological losses and serious damage to health. This work takes stock of the regulatory aspects, the safety standards of these substances and the state of knowledge on these products in Gabon.
