Abstract

Concentration of Some heavy metals in main irrigation and drainage canals water of Bakolori Irrigation Project (BIP) were investigated from March 2019 to February 2020. Four sampling stations were systematically & randomly selected from the two canals respectively. Water samples were collected monthly from the eight sampling stations and taken to the laboratory for analysis of Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Lead (Pb) and Zinc (Zn).
