Abstract

The present paper deals with 86 species of mites under 16 families and 37 genera, including 35 phytophagous species and 48 predatory species. It also contained 2 species not earlier known from India and more or less all the plant species on which these mites were recorded formed new host records (for phytophagous species) and new habitat records (for predatory species).
