Abstract

Introduction: Craniofacial clefts are the result of disruption of the normal developmental program during embryogenesis affecting the face, skull or both. Objective: To analyze the literature on oblique facial clefting, highlighting the different subtopics such as its etiology and prevalence, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and dental management.Methodology: Articles published in databases such as PubMed, SCOPUS and Google Scholar were analyzed, with emphasis on the last 5 years.
