Abstract

Background: Hallux valgus is a complex progressive deformity manifesting with lateral deviation of the greater toe and medial deviation of first metatarsal. To decrease or control the hallux valgus angle, various orthosis pulling the hallux laterally and taping and foot exercises can be important in maintaining the mobility of joints. Aim: To determine the effect of taping and foot exercises in relief of pain, improving walking ability and in the angle of hallux valgus.
