This study was performed in order to identify sexual differentiation characters of Jade perch as farmers have claimed to have difficulty to identify male and female for reproduction purpose. In order to address this issue, the morphometric characters differences between female and male was studied. Gonadal histological analysis were further applied to confirm sexual identification characters. In the present study, correlations and linear regression analysis were performed for selected 29 morphometric and 11 meristic characters in relation to total length (TL) on 50 specimens.
