Abstract
Vivekananda is a key figure of nineteen century renaissance. He has influence all sectors of human life in an enormous way. Nevertheless, he has been represented, misrepresented and deconstructed by various organizations both in personal and institutional level. Vivekananda Kendra situated in Kanya Kumari spanning over its branches to whole of India and abroad is one among them. The current study approaches the nuances of Vivekananda Kendra towards Vivekananda. The aim of the study is to assess the commonality and divergence between ideas of Vivekananda and ideology Vivekananda Kendra propagates.
