Deep margin elevation: Raising the bar in adhesive restorations - A case series

Abstract

Treating subgingival deep carious defects can be clinically challenging owing to the difficulty in obtaining sufficient restorative access and a moisture-free field for bonding. Traditional restorative and surgical approaches are aggressive. In keeping with modern restorative materials and techniques, the deep margin elevation procedure has evolved as a simple and convenient means to manage hitherto difficult cases.
