Some additional notes on the family Staphylinidae (Insecta: Coleoptera) in Turkey

Abstract

In the study, 13 species of the subfamilies Paederinae Fleming and Staphylininae Latreille belonging to the family Staphylinidae recorded from Elazığ, Tunceli, Diyarbakır, Mardin and Gümüşhane provinces in Turkey. Of the recorded species; Rugilus rufipes Germar, 1836; Bisnius fimetarius (Gravenhorst, 1802); Gabrius astutoides A. Strand, 1946 and Ocypus mus (Brullé, 1832) from eastern Anatolian region of Turkey; Philonthus cruentatus (Gmelin, 1790) from southeastern Anatolian region of Turkey and Ontholestus murinus (Linnaeus, 1758) from Black Sea region of Turkey were first record for the area.
