Abstract
Uterine fibroid is a benign i.e. a non-cancerous growth from the muscle layer of uterus & is medically referred as fibromyomas. It is generally formed of a mixture of muscle tissues containing fibrous tissue. Myomas are frequently multiple may be found in one uterus. The tumours tend to be spherical in shape & surrounded by pseudocapsule which consists of compressed normal uterine wall. Uterine fibroid tumors are the most common, non-cancerous pelvic masses that women experience. They arise from the muscular layer of the uterus, the myometrium [1].
