Abstract

Globalization and modernization are two very vast and contested phenomenons. It has brought multifaceted impacted. Present study aims to highlight the paradox of modernization and globalization as it contributes in reproducing new forms of social exclusion and discrimination of old institution such as caste. The study is based upon the secondary data to understand that how dalits still face caste discrimination despite government policy like caste reservation.
