A study of the effect of selected pranayama on breath holding capacity of riffle / pistol shooting players

Abstract

The objective of this study was to study the effect of selected pranayama on breath holding capacity of Riffle/ pistol shooting players. 30 female players aged 15 to 30 years of ahmedabad Riffle club were selected as subjects for this study. Who were given 8 weeks training of selected pranayama. Statistical analysis has been done by t-test and the significance of the result was seen on 0.05 levels. With pranayama training difference was found between pre-test mean and post-test mean of experimental group. The significant difference was found between subjects performance.
