Abstract

An elaborate study on growth, flowering and economics of chrysanthemum cultivation as influenced by integrated nutrient management had been carried out during the two consecutive years i.e. 2016-17 and 2017-18 at Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola. The maximum growth parameters viz. plant height, branches plant-1, plant spread and leaf area; flowering parameters viz. days to emergence of first flower bud, days to flowering from flower bud emergence and days to 50% flowering and economic parameter i.e. B:C ratio were recorded with the treatment comprising of application of 75% RDF + vermicompost @ 5 t ha-1+ Azotobactor + PSB.
