Analysis of second decade of Inter-University tournaments organized by the Inter-University Board of India

Abstract

Inter-University Board of India played an important role to organize and promote various sports among the university students. In this paper the researcher discuss the historical aspects of the games organized in 1941 to 1950, i.e. second decades of the Inter-University Tournaments organized by the Inter-University Board. In the first decade; the tournaments were started with Athletics, Tennis and Hockey in the year 1940. Here, the research will discuss the development of Inter-University Tournaments as well as analysis the results of the tournaments throughout the decade.
