An analysis on availability of sports coaches and trainers for different games in Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Khel stadiums in Haryana

Abstract

The study was helpful to know about the availability of sports coaches and trainers for different games in Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Khel Stadiums in Haryana. The present study will be conducted in Haryana state. The state is divided into four divisions: Ambala, Rohtak, Gurgaon, Hisar. Within these divisions there are 21 districts, 47 sub divisions, 67 Tehsils, 45 sub Tehsils and 116 blocks. Due the limitation of time and money in present research only 30 blocks will be randomly selected for data collection, where Rajiv Gandhi graminkhel stadiums are present. The tabulated data was subjected to computation using SPSS 20.0 version. The calculated results were tabulated for mean, standard deviation and percentage distribution. In this study question wise interpretation were used therefore, all responses were interpreted in the terms of questions asked in the survey. We find out that availability of coaches at ground in RGGKP is not sufficient according to local peoples. While according to coaches and sports persons percentage of availability of coaches at ground is satisfactory in RGGKP. When we talk about ratio between number of coaches and players we find out that 76 % coaches (out of 50 respondents) responses that availability of coaches is sufficient in RGGKP, While only 16.8 % sports person (out of 400 respondents) responses that ratio of coaches and sports person is satisfactory. Only 28.9 % Local people (out of 400 respondents) are also saying that ratio of coaches and sports person is satisfactory agree that indoor ground facilities are available in RGGKP.
