Analysis of stability constants of 2-carboxy ethyl-3-hydroxy-4(3h) quinazolinone with transition metal

International journal of applied research · 2018 · Vol. 4(4) · pp. 433–436

Abstract

This paper deals with stability constants of binary and ternary complexes of 2-carboxyl ethyl-3-hydroxy-4(3H) quinazolinone [CEHQO] with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II). in presence of Glycine (gly), a–Alanine (ala), Proline (pro), Histidine (hist), Iminodiacetic acid (IMDA), Nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA), 2,2'-Bipyridyl (bipy) and Ethylene-diamine(en) at 30°C and ionic strength of 0.1M KNO3. It also deals with binary and ternary complexes at different temperatures.
