Abstract

The present study was conducted during Rabi season in 2013-14 at students instructional farm of Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agricultural and Technology Kanpur, with the objectives to find out Impact of germination booster and super imposition of organic manure along with biofertilizer along with inorganic fertilizers and to assess suitability of different treatments on yield and economic parameters of late sown wheat variety Unnathalna (K- 9423). Germination booster of water soaked seed treatment registered 48 hours prior germination, significant higher plant population, plant height (all stages) and no. of tillers at 45 DAS, 90 DAS and at maturity. No. of ear’s per plant, ear length, no. of grains, biological yield, grain yield and harvest index compare to control treatment (Dry seed) while, response of nutritional levels in factor (B) exhibited maximum in RDF + compost @ 10 tone/ha + Azotobactor + PSB which registered significantly higher plant height at all three stages. Similarly, no. of tillers, no. of ear/plant, ear length, no. of grains/spike, biological yield, grain yield, straw yield and harvest index registered maximum compare to control treatment (RDF). Further, the interaction effect of both factors found significant in terms of initial plant population, no. of tillers at 45 DAS and ear length (cm) at 90 DAS, no. of grains/spike, biological yield (q/ha), straw yield (q/ha). The interaction effect in terms of grain yield (q/ha) and harvest index (%) was found non-significant.
