Analysis of socio-psychological constraints faced by women artist in Mithila Painting

Abstract

Women are vital human resource and play a significant role in agriculture and allied sector undertaking household, Farm and art activities. A part from the fact and assumption that women are trial and indecisive, they encounter many problems in their life. This study was conducted in Madhubani district of Bihar to study the analysis of constraints faced by women artist in Mithila painting for this purpose sixty respondents were purposively selected who were involved in Mithila painting. The findings of the study showed that the average majority (63.99%) of the respondents become Socio-psychological constraints involved in Mithila painting, among the study variables such as (Age, cast, occupation, Family type and family annual income).
