Integrated disease management of rice in Madhya Pradesh

International Journal of Chemical Studies · 2019 · Vol. 7(3) · pp. 374–376

Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the most important Kharif crop grown in 44ha in various diverse ecosystem in India. Among the biotic stresses, the occurrence of leaf blast and brown spot may cause considerable yield losses and become a major threat for rice cultivation. The main Concept for Integrated Disease Management are discussed together with the technologies advocating the combination of various method of seed treatment and foliar applications. Among the treatment combinations T6:N1+ N2+ N3 + M5 + M6 + M8 + M9 + M10 recorded significantly superior for controlling the leaf blast and brown spot rice and combating the economic losses.
