Abstract

India is one of the world's largest producers of white rice and brown rice, accounting for 20% of the world total rice production. Rice is the most important food crop of India covering about 1/4th of the total cropped area and providing food to about half of the Indian population and it is a great source of complex carbohydrates, which is an important source of the fuel to our body needs Nutritional value of rice is mainly determined by the milled rice protein content.
